Mouth Cancer Exam
Also known as an oral cancer exam, a mouth cancer exam is quick and painless.
During a consultation, a dedicated appointment, or your regular 6 month checkup with Dr. Affleck, simply request that he look for any signs of mouth cancer, and he will inspect your face, neck, lips and mouth to see if there are any signs of cancer.
Signs may include lumps, redness or white patches, swelling or abnormal color or texture.
Oral cancer can occur anywhere on the roof of your mouth, the floor of your mouth, under your tongue, or any surface including toward the neck area.
